Brianna King, a freshman at Chaffey College, finished fifth in the women's 5-kilometer race in 18:47.54 at the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Championships at Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley, advancing to the Nov. 20 state meet at Woodward Park in Fresno.
