Lauren Berg, a freshman at Cerritos College, finished fourth in the women's 5-kilometer race in 18:20.6 at the California Community College Athletic Association Southern Caliofrnia Championships at Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley. Berg helped Cerritos place fourth overall with 147 points. advancing to the state meet Nov. 20 at Woodward Park in Fresno.
