Yahaira Zuniga, Gina Queck, Beyonce Wright, Raegan Beckham and Briana Ayala all placed in the top 100 in the women's 5-kilometer race at the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Championships at Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley. Zuniga took third in 18:08.45 to help San Diego Mesa place sixth overall with 175 points to advance to the state meet Nov. 20 at Woodward Park in Fresno.
