San Diego Mesa had five scorers in the top 15 at the California Community College Athletic Association Southern Regional championship meet to prevail with 31 points at Kern County Soccer Park in Bakersfield. Juan Rosales covered the 4-mile layout in 19:50.85 to place second, David Millan took third in 19:51.53, Victor Rosas finished fourth in 19:57.24, Bryce Kueker earned eighth in 20:04.31 and Alan Jimenez achieved 14th in 20:16.07 for the Olympians. Zak Beckwith was 29th in 20:37.85 and Jake Beckwith took 33rd in 20:41.60 for San Diego Mesa, which secured its third straight Southern California crown and will attempt to win a third consecutive state title Nov. 19 at Woodward Park in Fresno.
