Aariana Amezcua, a freshman at Mount San Antonio College, finished fifth in the women's 5-kilometer race in 17:58.9 at the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regional Championships at El Dorado Regional Park in Long Beach. Amezcua helped the Mounties place second overall as a team by a 68-91 margin behind San Diego Mesa College.
