Sequoia Gonzales, a sophomore at El Camino College, finished fourth in the women's 5-kilometer race in 17:49.6 at the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regional Championships at El Dorado Regional Park in Long Beach. Gonzales, who elevated from 11th place last season, helped El Camino place 10th overall as a team with 280 points.
